The advanced training sessions are back for the 2026 summer season!
Like previously organized, we offer 2 sessions on Sunday morning:
- 08:30 session: This session is for members who already row regularly and want to improve specific skills in the boat, and members who are interested in participating in races.
- 10:00 session: This sessions is for members coming out of the beginners course, or members reintroduced to rowing after a long absence, who would like to receive some additional coaching
The training sessions will be organized on Sunday mornings, for which you have to register in advance on the website, so we can organize the coaching accordingly.
There will be a coach present, but this coach could have to watch over multiple boats at the same time. Depending on the number of participants, the rowing level of participants, and boat types on the water, the coach could join in a skiff, as a cox, as a rower in the crew or use the safety boat.
Coaching can consist of doing drills and exercises, individual coaching, skiff training, etc. Ideally, these coached sessions initiate forming a crew to eventually participate in races in Belgium, France, The Netherlands, or Germany.
By registering for these coached sessions, you agree on receiving feedback on your rowing, and doing exercises during the training. You are expected to follow and respect the instructions given.
