Dear Rowing-friends,

We are happy to announce that we could organise a rowing camp with an external trainer on 31st July at LIRC.

Nadine from SaarRowingCentre will be at our Club and train rowers from all levels - it doesn’t matter if you have just completed your beginner’s course or if you are a confirmed rower already. Everyone is welcome. She will be able to guide and coach us to become better rowers.

We will have four sessions at 2 hours each, starting at 8am with a one hour lunch break in between. Depending on the subscriptions, we will group the rowers, so that there is some coherence in the groups, e.g. experienced rowers are coached with the help of the safety boat, novice rowers near the pontoon, etc.

Places are limited and only fully paid sessions are confirmed.

The trainer can handle 4 rowers during each session – meaning 4 skiffs or two 2x.

We can therefore fill the day with 16 rowers from all levels of experience. The cost for the trainer is € 100/hour which comes to € 50 per rower per 2 hours session, provided we can fill all slots.

For the time being, training is limited to these two boat categories.

If you have a preference as to timing, we will try to take this into consideration but cannot make any promises.

This is new to us as a Club, and we think that we all will benefit from good, motivated rowers, and we endeavour to make it a wonderful day for everyone involved.

Depending on the success and your response to this offer, we will organise follow up training courses with an option on 7^th & 8^th August - so you might already want to block these dates. More options in September and October are to come.
